Watching his imagination come to life brings more joy to my days than I can describe

 "A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2014"

Long, cold days indoors this last week have brought out the creativity in all of us; building forts, playing Play-Doh, baking muffins, playing in the sink, and running rope lights around the house after dinner. We've even become avid watchers of Wheel-of-Fortune before bath time. After dinner, Avery grabs our hands and leads us to the couch ready to watch the wheel spin. As the contestants shout out letters, Avery shouts them right back at the screen. It's an alphabet learning game! He loves it!
