My Big Three-Year-Old!

One night as we were taking a walk, I decided the stars were aligned and the weather/lighting/attitudes were just right for an impromptu photo shoot in the field.

Because I didn't want to waste time choosing an outfit and risk missing the moment, I decided that being being shirtless with tousled hair and markered arms is just the way a 3-year-old should look in photos anyway :)

This was a rare day because Avery was more than willing to model for me and let me follow him around with a camera while Cullen was the one that wasn't really into it. Avery made sure he made it into a few shots though - he continues to amaze me with the love he shows toward his little brother.

I even got Justin in for a few sweet photos. These three... I am one lucky mama.

And now that So You Think You Can Dance has started a new season, it's all dancing all the time at our house. Avery made up 'the ticket game' where he pretty much just role-plays being on the show and receiving a ticket at the end of his dance. Here's a sample of one of the 'games', I added a music overlay because usually he just dances to the music in his soul :)

    1. SOON you will see the magic, Sally! I swear I year up more these days than I ever did while pregnant, the sweetness is just so genuine.
And then someone grabs a toy away and pure chaos ensues. But it's those little moments of sweetness that make it so worth it :)
